1. The race will be run in accordance with rules of IAAF, ASA and KZNA and all entrants must abide by these rules.

2. Cut off time for 10km – 3 hours from start.

3. Cut off time for 5km – 1.5 hours from start.

4. No entries will be taken on the day of the race.

5. Race number and pack to be collected on dates stipulated. For 10km: runners must be 14 years and over.

6. Proof of payment required when picking up race numbers.

7. No refunds will be granted.

8. 2019 licence numbers must be worn on front and back of the vest/t-shirt.

9. Prize giving will commence at 10h30 on race day. Valid proof of age will be required from prize winners who claim their prizes

10. A Tog bag race facility will not be provided. The race organisers will not on the day be held responsible for any loss or damage to items or property.

11. All foreign athletes must comply with IAAF 4.2, 22.1 and 142 and ASA Rule 9.

12. ASA/KZNA approved age category tags must be worn on the front and back of the upper body clothing and be clearly visible to qualify for age category prizes.

13. Refreshment stations will be provided and no personal seconding will be permitted. No vehicles are permitted on route.

14. Traffic officials, technical officials and marshals are to be obeyed.

15. The race number must be worn over the permanent licence number on the front of the upper body clothing and be placed so that ASA Licence sponsor and ASA provincial year remain visible above the race number (ASA Rule 26.1.6). Temporary licence athletes must wear their race number on front of the upper body clothing with temporary licence on the back. (ASA Rule 25.5.6).

16. ONLY registered UKZN students are permitted to run the 10km Race at no charge as their entry for race licences will be subsidised. Should you not wish to participate after registration, please email campus2campus@ukzn.ac.za by 26 July 2019.

17. UKZN staff, registered for study in 2019, must however register (at the cost applicable) at www.finishtime.co.za or at any of the Pick and Pay Stores countrywide at the cost applicable.

Entrance to the Fun Run is free! Participants are encouraged to dress to the theme – #1LoveUKZN. Free t-shirts will be given to the first 250 runners who register!

Sizes will be available on a first come first serve basis on the registration days stated. Where possible, we will try to accommodate t-shirt sizes, however, is not guaranteed. Thank you for understanding.

19. No parking at start. Transport from all campuses will be provided to race start. (See schedule).

20. Entry to 10km race closes on 22 July 2019 at 10h00. Entry to 5km fun run open up to start of race!

The University of KwaZulu-Natal, partners and sponsors will not be held responsible for any injury/ illness occurring during, or as a result of, the race or for any loss of property or damage on the courseand vicinity of the University. All athletes must be medically fit and take part entirely at their own risk.
